yay!

I finally broke down and bought myself a bedroom set. After dragging Dana around to several stores so that I could have a second opinion I finally decided on this one (sorry not the best picture but you get the idea):

Hopefully it won't consume my entire room but at least I will finally have a place to store some of my clothes since currently I have no dresser and my closet shelves are exploding!

Other than that life has been pretty boring. Have been working at least 45 hrs a week and am considering upping it a little to pay for my hefty purchase...nah I think I may go crazy working 5 10s. :) Especially since my weekends seem to be consumed with chores, errands, and fun and my couch is starting to feel very lonely.

I finally have health insurance again. Yay! So now I have to do all those fun things that I have been putting off. In fact I have a fun filled doctor appointment tomorrow. :( It kinda sucks working the hours I do since it seems virtually impossible to get an appointment on mondays and then my boss gives me a hard time for taking time off for appointments. Oh well, that's why I have sick time, right? My patients tomorrow morning will just have to deal with having their appointments moved. Now I just need to find time for the dentist and eye doctor since it has been several years since I have been. Yikes!

Well that is all for now. Later dudes! :)

ooh, I like it. can you get the mirror? it's really cool, too. I'm a VERY bad shopping influence, don't listen to me.
I bet you feel better having insurance. It scares me not having it, even for a short time.

Cute bedroom set, I like darker colored woods for furniture too.

Good luck at the doc. Yay for insurance again too. I run into that problem with doctor appts too. Doc offices are so busy that they already have to schedule you several weeks out, and if you need a certain day of the week, you may be looking at months instead of weeks!

I really like the furniture. Don't you feel so grown up buying real furniture?

I love it. All the furniture we have has been given to us, except for my splurge on Pottery Barn lamps. I just don't want to put the money into buying furniture for an apartment. What if it doesn't fit in my house or match the style of the home? That makes me nervous.
