WTF

The company I work for is always talking about how great they are doing in "these tough ecomonic times." Well then if they are doing so great why are they cutting their contribution to my 401K to nothing?! As it was they had a pretty crappy match of 50% to the first 5% I put in but now nothing?! Why don't they cut all the bonuses my manager gets (he got a year end of over $25,000 last year) or some of the stupid trips they pay for him to go on (in the past year he's gone to boston, vegas, san jose, san francisco, portland, and many others)? I know I am lucky to still have a job but it's very frustrating when they talk about how great the company is doing and then still make cuts. Especially when the higher ups have all sorts of added expenses but none of them get cut. Grrrrrr.

Class

This weekend was pretty lame as I had class all weekend. It was a class on the shoulder and it was a really good class but still it sucked sitting in class all weekend. I'm required to take 40units of continuing education every 2 yrs in order to keep my PT license. For the most part I enjoy the classes but it SUCKS not getting a weekend as most classes are at least 8-5 sat and sun (as was this one). This weekend was extra sucky because it was super nice outside and I haven't seen the sun in like a month.

I went and tried on my dress last monday. It fits pretty well but I will need to get it taken in in the boobs quite a bit since unfortunately I'm not as blessed in that area as everyone else in my family. :) I'm a little annoyed with the dress shop since I got there, they gave me my dress and then disappeared. I was left to try to get into it and zipped up by myself. Nice. I think the bridesmaid dresses look really good and the colors turned out well. amy's is sitting upstairs waiting for me to take it to her in may.

Alrighty I better get back at it. This week is just work as usual. I don't think I have any big plans for next weekend other than painting the hallway. Fun stuff. :)

busy busy

I've been busy as usual and unfortunately lacking on blogging. Sorry.

Last weekend we went down to Portland to see Lis@ L@mpinelli who was HILLARIOUS. A little raunchy and racist but still super funny. Craig's sister and BIL met us there and went to the show with us. We also enjoyed the tax free shopping. :) We didn't find much to buy but I did get a new pair of white Paige jeans and we bought a little giant ladder (very exciting I know). The weather was fantastic for once as well.

This weekend wasn't too exciting and it has been cold and rainy. Ran some errands and then got dinner with Dana on saturday. For easter we went to a friend of Craig's parents. It was fun but a long way to drive just to eat and then turn around and drive home if you ask me. Plus we just saw his family last weekend so...

In other fun news my wedding dress is in!!! I'm going today at noon to try it on. Very exciting. And the bridesmaid dresses are in too so I'll get to see those.

Otherwise I think I have been pretty boring. Next weekend I have a class all weekend so I will be super lame.
