Tell me
Am I wrong to be a little hurt and frustrated that my new MIL emailed me asking me to print some wedding pictures for her so she can put them in christmas cards and they are ALL of Craig and his groomsmen! Not a single one includes me. If you are telling people your son got married wouldn't you want them to see his new wife?! But I know if I say something to him he'll get all defensive cuz he's totally overprotective of her. WTF.

weekend
This weekend we were busy. Friday night we went to a friend's house to carve pumpkins, eat pizza, and play wii. I've never played Wii before but by the 3rd bowling game I kicked ass! Saturday and Sunday we spent shopping. Half our house has no furniture. We've never had a formal dining room table and then we sold the couch and loveseat the week before the wedding. Long story but Craig didn't like them. So this weekend we managed to find a dining room table for cheap. We found some couches that we are debating. We just can't seem to find the comfort level we would like in the price range we can afford. Plus we don't use the front room that often. We would like to get a tv for in there but that's a ways off. Other than that we didn't do too much, got dinner but that's pretty standard. We don't have much going on the next couple weeks as of now but that can always change. Photog
Here's the quick version of why I'm frustrated with our photographer.
-she left an hour early. We paid her for 7 hrs which would be 2:30-9:30, she left at 8:30
-She sat inside looking out the window doing nothing while everyone was being seated so we have no pictures of that.
-I have only 1 picture of my dad walking me down the isle and we are both looking down, and it was a long isle being we were outside. I have 1 picture of each of the couples walking down. We have no pictures of Craig and I walking down afterwards.
-She totally checked out at the reception. She sat in the entry way and ate. Now I don't care if you eat but make sure you do your job as well. We have no picture of the head table. The only picture we have of people dancing are the anniversary dance. No pictures of us talkingwith our guests. Now if we had some of these I probably wouldn't care that she left early but we don't have them.
-The pictures we have she didn't touch up. My nose had been running and is bright red in the pictures with my parents. Very easy to touch up but not done. There's pictures of us under these pine trees where there's clumps of dirt on my train and again not touched up.
-We have no good picture of Craig and I close up. Yes, there's lots of very good artistic pictures but we are just missing some of the "traditional" ones. I don't have a picture where you can see my full dress. We have very few of the wedding party as she would take 1 picture of a pose and say perfect so someone always has eyes closed or a funny face.
Maybe I'm being too picky but we paid a lot of money for her and neither of us is happy with her. But there is nothing we can do, I only get to wear that dress one day and it's over. :) There are some very good artistic pictures but we are just missing those traditional ones.

Here's a lot more pictures, mainly of Craig & I. I'll save the wedding party for another post. :) I'm at work and no patients for an hour so might as well take the time to upload pics!
