NEVER go to valvoline!!!
So I brought a brand new car so that I wouldn't have to deal with car shit but valvoline is doing it's best to make that different! I got my oil changed at valvoline last time I got it changed and when I moved my car the next morning there was a big puddle of oil under it. So I brought it back in and they tried telling me it was my transmission leaking. NO, I do know what oil looks like. Anyhow I took it to the dealer and they put a new gasket on my transmission. Problem solved...or so I thought. I went to walmart for an oil change today and fricking valvoline tightened the plug so hard that they can't get it off. Great! Now I have to find a dealer and pray that they can get it off otherwise they will have to drill it and I'll have that whole expense. I suppose when I went to valvoline saying it was leaking they just cranked the plug as hard as they could. GRRRRRRRRR!!!! I will never go to valvoline again.

B-day fun
Thursday was my birthday so we went to this dualing piano bar which was actually pretty fun. 2 girls from work, Dana, Cori, and some of Cori's co-workers came along for the fun. Thursday is ladies night so all drinks (and not just bar pour) were $3. Good drinks that are $3=bad news. LOL! Let's just say friday was a little rough and we were all wishing that we were Dana who just got to lie on her couch all day. :) Since it was my b-day they made me go on stage, lifted me onto the piano, and sang to me. It was a little embarrassing but at least I had a few drinks in me by then. :) I think lots of fun was had by all.
Other than that I have just been working a lot. My social life is booming compared to what it was a month ago. The people I work with really like to go out. I've been trying to limit mysefl to 2-3 nights per week.
Here's me on the piano. LOL!

And here's some of the group that joined us.

Inquiring minds want to know
I thought most people knew this but I guess not. Yes, I did bite my tongue off when I was little. I don't remember it but Amy says she does. Anyhow, I was 18 months old and at my babysitter's house when my cousin's daughter pushed me down the stairs. I bit the tip of my tongue off and I was sucking on a stick so I poked 2 holes in the roof of my mouth, one up toward my nose and the other back toward my throat. They sewed the holes shut and my tongue back on. I had to take speach when I was little bacause of it and I blame that for why my accent is so much stronger than Amy's. Other than having a problem with saying some words, an occassional stutter, and the scars in the roof of my mouth bother me sometimes I have no problems. So that's my story. :)

Not much
Well I don't have too much to report. Work is crazy busy so during the week I don't do much being that I don't get done with work until 7 or 7:30 and live 30 minutes away. Went to dinner on friday, the out for a drink but had to cut it short since I had to get up early on saturday. I ran a 5k on Saturday morning. It went well being that I haven't ran at all for at least 2 months and have been barely making it to the gym. I did manage to beat everyone else that I knew who was running it, not that it was a race or anything. ;) Saturday night I intended to make friends with my couch but got convinced to go up to Seattle. It was my first Seattle adventure and was a good time, in fact I didn't make it home until 5am! I thought I was going to die I was soooo tired. Let me tell you, Seattle is much more my scene than Tacoma...can actually go into a bar without paying a cover so I can feel fine with my tendency to bar hop. And there was hot boys, always a plus. :)

I survived
Well I survived my first week in WA. So far the rain isn't driving me crazy, it doesn't rain constant all day so it's not so bad. Work will be a big change. It's really busy and everyone is much more manual based (which I like but am a little rusty on since I was unable to do it at my old job). I'm feeling a little overwhelmed and stupid since I haven't been in a setting like this. Time will make things better I'm sure. Not getting done until 7pm may kill me and make me fat. Not sure how often I'll make it to the gym after that since it would mean not eating dinner until at least 9. Thinking about trying to hit the gym before work but I know how that normally works for me.
My weekend was rather busy. Friday I went to dinner with a co-worker and then we decided to go have a few drinks at this little hole in the wall bar. It was a little frightening, more hickish than the bars at tech! Saturday I finally got my stuff, YAY!!! So now I have a couch to sit on. Then I went out with Cori (a friend from PT school). Not a huge fan of the place we went but from what I hear it is the place to go in Tacoma. I ran into a guy from Hibbing who graduated with Amy. Totally random. Then Sunday I got together with Dana, a friend from tech. It was nice to see her and catch up since I don't think I've talked to her in almost 5 years. Hopefully I'll be seeing a little more of her. :)
