Scott's Wedding

We finally found the cord for Craig's camera so here are a couple pictures from my brother's wedding. Unfortunately we were relying on my sister's camera for a lot of them but the kids sommehow erased them all! :(

I hate coming up with names for these posts. Lol. My life is pretty mellow right now without much to tell, hence difficult to find a post title. Craig was out of town for work all week and then went to his parents friday/saturday for father's day. I was able to get lots done around the house. Friday night I went out to dinner with a couple friends and then back to one of their houses for wine and a movie. We were too busy talking to get the movie in though and had lots of fun.

I had my first dress fitting last week. It went well but it cost way more than I expected. My dress is way too big (even though they measured me and special ordered it, who knows) so I have to get it taken in all over. The only good things is I don't need it hemmed. So I guess I lucked out with a too big of size since the smaller size likely would have been too short. The seamstress was really nice, she owned the dress shop for 30 yrs and sold it last year. She seems to be frustrated with the new owner and how she's running it, would be hard to work to grow a business for 30 yrs and then watch it go downhill. My next fitting is July 24 when my mom and aunt are here for my shower so it will be nice for them to see my dress finally.

I don't have much going on this next week and then starts the busyness. For the 4th we are going to eastern WA to Craig's cousin's. We went last year and it was cold and windy (eastern WA is normally hot in the summer) so hopefully this year it will be nice so we can go boating and stuff. After that it seems we have stuff every weekend between our wedding showers/bachlor(ette) parties/friends' weddings/birthdays/etc. We keep trying to plan a housewarming/BBQ but just don't know when we can fit it in.

Review

This weekend we had a girls night in Seattle for my friend Alicia's b-day. We had lots of fun. Got dinner, had a few drinks, and stayed up there so there would be no drinking and driving. Here's a couple pictures, hopefully I'll get more from the other girls soon.

Otherwise weekend was pretty mellow. We bought a entry way table and a picture. I'm still not sold on the picture we got. I had wanted a big silver framed mirror but Craig really liked the picture so we'll see. I'm hoping once we get some things for table to time it all together it will help.

This week is just filled with working again. I have my 1st dress alteration appt on monday. :) I need to go to the dress shop this weekend to try on a couple veils and decide what I want.

Not much

Not much new here. My weekend was pretty uneventful. Got my tires aligned, washed the downstairs windows, and then went out with Dana & Josh on saturday night. It was good to see them, haven't seen Josh since he deployed in march I think it was and haven't seen much of Dana lately either. Sunday we started the daunting task of registering at M@cy's. Oy that's a job! Craig checked out after about an hour and I had to keep telling him to focus. lol. After about another 30 minutes I decided to call it a day. I think I can update it online though. This weekend we get to tackle t@rget. Fun stuff.

It's getting to the point with wedding stuff that I'm starting to freak out a little and realize how much I need to get done and what little time I have. I just don't have much time during the week with the hours I work and our weekends seem to fill up so quickly. Unfortunately Craig isn't much help with most of the things because he is so not detail oriented and not too computer savvy. Plus I don't have my family here to help me out either. Oh well it will all get done I'm sure. Here's the short list of what I need to do: make maps/direction cards, make programs, address invites, pick out music, tuxes, seating chart, pick out rings, accessories, attendant gifts, pick a reading, and on and on.
