NEVER go to valvoline!!!

So I brought a brand new car so that I wouldn't have to deal with car shit but valvoline is doing it's best to make that different! I got my oil changed at valvoline last time I got it changed and when I moved my car the next morning there was a big puddle of oil under it. So I brought it back in and they tried telling me it was my transmission leaking. NO, I do know what oil looks like. Anyhow I took it to the dealer and they put a new gasket on my transmission. Problem solved...or so I thought. I went to walmart for an oil change today and fricking valvoline tightened the plug so hard that they can't get it off. Great! Now I have to find a dealer and pray that they can get it off otherwise they will have to drill it and I'll have that whole expense. I suppose when I went to valvoline saying it was leaking they just cranked the plug as hard as they could. GRRRRRRRRR!!!! I will never go to valvoline again.

That sucks. Can you complain at their website or anything? (Maybe you'll get some money back?!)

that totally sucks. I've heard other stories from other quick change places before. write a letter while you're still pissed enough to Valvoline headquarters. maybe you can get something out of all this suckyness?

Hey there chica! Great news to hear that you moved up to the Pacific Northwest...I loved it up there! I know what you mean about Oregon -- the crazy gas thing and the slow drivers, and it gets worse...I spent a year and a half covering that state calling on Ford dealerships! My favorite thing on your blog: the shirt-burning party! Looks like it was fun. As for Seattle, it looks like you're having lots of fun...I have a good girlfriend out there (Mari), and may be headed out this summer for a visit. Let me know if you need a new friend to hang out with...she's awesome, and she's got the total hookup on the Seattle scene! It's great! Also, Rade is in Seattle, as well as a few DZ's...Kir$ten R0ll@y and Miche11e En$ign. Shoot me an email if you need any contacts or info :)

Is it sad that the first thing I thought was "hmmm, if she wiped up the oil with a rag and had a sample I could tell if it was oil or transmission fluid" ??? Can you tell I work with oil/lubricants/coolants?

Pooh to valvoline!
