Well I survived my first week in WA. So far the rain isn't driving me crazy, it doesn't rain constant all day so it's not so bad. Work will be a big change. It's really busy and everyone is much more manual based (which I like but am a little rusty on since I was unable to do it at my old job). I'm feeling a little overwhelmed and stupid since I haven't been in a setting like this. Time will make things better I'm sure. Not getting done until 7pm may kill me and make me fat. Not sure how often I'll make it to the gym after that since it would mean not eating dinner until at least 9. Thinking about trying to hit the gym before work but I know how that normally works for me.
My weekend was rather busy. Friday I went to dinner with a co-worker and then we decided to go have a few drinks at this little hole in the wall bar. It was a little frightening, more hickish than the bars at tech! Saturday I finally got my stuff, YAY!!! So now I have a couch to sit on. Then I went out with Cori (a friend from PT school). Not a huge fan of the place we went but from what I hear it is the place to go in Tacoma. I ran into a guy from Hibbing who graduated with Amy. Totally random. Then Sunday I got together with Dana, a friend from tech. It was nice to see her and catch up since I don't think I've talked to her in almost 5 years. Hopefully I'll be seeing a little more of her. :)

glad you made it thru your first week. sounds like you had some people around to keep you company, which really helps. when I was at my other job I used to work out in the morning and I got used to it eventually. just take your stuff w/ you and shower there and go straight to work. once you get into the routine, it'll be easy.
You forgot to mention that you ignored a drunk dial from your favoritest roommate ever on Saturday ;)
Glad to hear you are meeting people and getting out and about. What are your hours that you don't get out until 7?
Glad to hear that everything is going well and that you got to go out!
Yay to having a place to sit now!
