Inquiring minds want to know

I thought most people knew this but I guess not. Yes, I did bite my tongue off when I was little. I don't remember it but Amy says she does. Anyhow, I was 18 months old and at my babysitter's house when my cousin's daughter pushed me down the stairs. I bit the tip of my tongue off and I was sucking on a stick so I poked 2 holes in the roof of my mouth, one up toward my nose and the other back toward my throat. They sewed the holes shut and my tongue back on. I had to take speach when I was little bacause of it and I blame that for why my accent is so much stronger than Amy's. Other than having a problem with saying some words, an occassional stutter, and the scars in the roof of my mouth bother me sometimes I have no problems. So that's my story. :)

o well--it's a conversation piece, right? I would die if that happened to Kobe. So would the little kid that pushed him down the stairs...
