2 months

We had Logan's 2 month sheck up yesterday. He got shots which didn't excit him too much. Dr says he's looking good and is nice and strong. He's getting bigger and more interactive every day. Gives me a big smile every morning when I get him from his crib. :) Most nights he'll sleep for a 6hr stretch, but other nights he still wakes up every couple hours.
Stats:
Weight: 11 lb 8 oz (45%)
Height: 22 3/4 in (47%)
Head: I don't remember and am too lazy to go look, I just know it was 19%

My first week back to work went ok. The first few days were rough as Logan refused to take a bottle. But finally tuesday late afternoon he got hungry enough and now he takes one like a champ. :)

We've been pretty boring although April and May will be busy. Next weekend Craig is gone for a poker tourney at his dad's and then the weekend after we go to the beach for the weekend with his family. In May I have a class one weekend, then C is in Texas for work, and then my parents are coming to visit on their way to see Amy.

work

I go back to work monday. I have mixed feelings about it. I'm ready to get out of the house but not quite ready to leave Logan. Craig took April off so that we wouldn't have to put Logan in daycare quite as early so he will be home with him. But Craig tends to get frustrated with him easiy and just doesn't quite have the patience. I've left for 2-3hrs a couple times and Logan has screamed the whole time. :( I get home and Craig is stressed to the max, not sure how he's going to handle 10 hours!

To add to it over the last week he has started rejecting the bottle and instead screams for hours. I've tried a couple different bottles and am going to try a 3rd. It's just weird since previously he took a bottle without a problem.

I'm also a little concerned how I'm going to fit it all in. Exercise has always been important to me for stress relief and now add to it this post-baby body that I'm so not digging. But I don't know how I'm going to be able to work 40hrs a week plus have time for Logan and some time for Craig too and take care of cooking/cleaning AND find the time to exercise. UGH! But I'm sure I'll figure it out, we all do...

Opinions needed

I need to get a carrier for Logan and am debating between 2 kinds. Since most of you who read this have kids I figured I'd ask for your advice.

Option 1: Front carrier that he can face in or out
OR
Option 2: Carrier that can be front or back

Tell me which you think would be better!

I am also nearing my 6wk checkup. My dr had mentioned an IUD when he checked on me the day after I had Logan. So now I'm debating between and IUD and the pill. I've never had a problem on the pill but since I'm nursing I would have to take a different kind. What do you think?

And here's the family picture we took this past weekend. This is Craig's mom's side of the family, his dad doesn't really have any family (he grew up in foster care). I have a huge family so family gatherings with his fam seem so quiet, especially since 5 of the people in the picture are never at them!

These are all the grandchildren/great grandchildren and spouses. Me, the dark haired girl, and the guy in blue t-shirt are the spouses. Logan, other baby, and 2 young girls are the great grandchildren.

Weekend

This weekend we went to C's parents house. Logan got to meet his great grandpa, all his great aunts/uncles, and all his cousins, etc. It was a good time. A little crazy for the little man I think since he was passed from 1 person to the next all weekend. We took a whole family picture since everyone was there which doesn't happen too often. (I'll post that once I get a copy) Here's a few pictures.

Heart

We saw the cardiologist yesterday and his heart looks good. The spot that they were concerned with is no longer there which is fantastic! They said it either went away on it's own or that it was artifact from the ultrasound. Either way it's no longer there so I don't care! Happy my little man is looking healthy!

1 month

Logan had his 1 month check-up yesterday. Dr said he looks good and is nice and strong. We had him circumsized last week which was painful to watch and we were stuck with a cranky, clingy baby for a couple days afterwards. We see the cardiologist tomorrow to check the heart stuff they saw on my ultrasounds again.

Here are the 1 month stats:
9 lb 8 oz
21 3/4 in
37cm head
50% for all

My mom came out to visit for a few days this past week. It was nice for her to get to meet the little man.

We are going down to C's parent's this weekend. It will be our first night away from home so we will see how that goes.

I'm starting to get a little stir crazy being at home all the time. Unfortunately the weather has been rainy and crappy so we haven't been able to get out for walks or anything. We have gone to dinner several times and the mall a couple times. Logan does pretty well, likes to sleep when he is in his carseat so I guess that is good.

I go back to work 4/4. It will be here before I know it! Luckily, I will be going to the same clinic that I was at beforeI had him. It's nice and close to home and they are flexible with dr appts and stuff. Plus if I don't have patients they don't care if I leave early which is always nice.
