The first sunset that we attmpted to watch. I say attempted because right after this point the sun disappeared completely behind the clouds.

From a lookout on the drive up the canyon.

Another sunset from a campground we stayed at. We actually got to see this sun set. :) Campgrounds there were crazy, no sites just a bunch of grass and you kinda just put your tent wherever.

This is on a 13 mile hike we took. It was 3 different trails with the 2nd trail connecting the other 2. We stopped to have a snack at the end of the first (it's where scenes from the movie 6 days 7 nights were filmed) and it started raining. We were so pissed! Then we saw this awesome double rainbow. Made the rain ok that day(even moreso since that was it for the day).

The lookout at end of trail 2/beginning of 3. Most people only go out and back on the 3rd trail. We kept meeting people and they would look at us like we were crazy since we were covered in mud (Amy had one of her more entertaining falls on this hike, lol) and all sweaty and ask if they had alot further to go and if it was really muddy. We then had to explain that we started on the other side and had been hiking for several hours at that point.

It's beautiful! I'm so jealous!
wow, those are some awesome pics. are you pretty into photography? if not, you should be.
I did't know people camped in Hawaii. Since college I've gotten soft--I don't camp anywhere that doesn't have walls, a bathroom, a tv, and a queen sized bed!
