The apartment search that is. I spent my morning and early afternoon saturday and then sunday morning and evening searching for an apartment (along with many hours on the internet and phone). I found 1 more potential. Problem is is that it has absolutely no storage and I have lots of rubbermaid bins and such that need a home. Plus it is currently being renovated so I can't see it and it "should" be done by the time I need to move in. And there is still the one by Dana.
I think I am just spoiled here. Full washer and dryer (most of the ones I'm looking at have stackables). Very large closet. Top flor. Uncovered porch so that I can sit out there and get some sun. Covered parking. Nice neighborhood....ARGH!!!! Why did they have to raise my rent so much???!!!
The rest of my weekend wasn't too bad. Friday night I went to the Sonic's game with a co-worker. It was fun and the seats were awesome (5th row behind the basket). I impressed her with my ability to get free beer within 5 mintues of getting there without even trying. LOL! But then I had to walk around with 2 full beers and a giant slice of pizza. Ah well, that's a price I'm willing to take for a free $7 beer. Saturday I looked at apartments all morning and then went to the bar with some friends to watch the Seahawks get their butts kicked. Afterward we decided to play some card games and then head out to the bar. It was a good time but my drive home was long since I was down in Olympia (about 40 minutes but at 2am it takes forever!). Sunday I looked at more apartments, went to REI, went grocery shopping, and then drug Dana around with me to look at more apartments.
This week is going to be a long one. Worked today since I have a class all day friday and saturday. Thursday it's a guy I work with b-day so will likely go out with him after work. Plus I need to decide on a new home or not since I have to give them my 30 day notice by the 23rd. Ugh!
