A little excitment

Today right after lunch a sheriff came into our office saying that a bomb had been found and we needed to evacuate. So we grabbed our purses and headed over to McDonalds for some ice cream. After a bit a couple of us went over to talk to the cops to see what was going on. I guess the Qwest guy was going to check the phone line and came acros "a device." They called the bomb squad and got the little robot out to investigate. Turns out they found 2 actual pipe bombs and detonated them. After about 2 hours they came in and told us it was safe to go back to work. I was hoping for the rest of the day off but no such luck. :( Crazy stuff. Who knows what pipe bombs were doing there. The funny part is I went out to lunch with a couple of co-workers and we were talking about how the cash & carry a couple doors down had gotten robbed awhile ago and that we should make more money for working in the ghetto. Then right after lunch this cop comes in and tells us they found a bomb. Ah the joys of working in Parkland! LOL!
