Just wanted to let everyone know that I made it to WA ok. The drive was long and boring but at least the weather wasn't too bad, I hit a little snow and lots of rain but nothing I couldn't handle. I did decide that Oregon is just messed up. People all drive UNDER the speed limit, who does that??? And they fill up your gas for you. This felt so odd to me being that I have never had anyone do it for me. Good thing Amy warned me otherwise I would have looked like I retard cuz I would have gotten out and done it myself.
Unfortunately my stuff will not make it until next Saturday. :( So I currently have an air matress and some paper plates for the next week. WA made sure to stay true to it's name and was cold and rainy all weekend...wants to break me in quickly I guess. :) HUGE change from the nice warm and sunny SoCal but better than MN I suppose.

I knew this one girl who moved here after me to work and all she had was beach chairs in her apartment for the longest time. And an air matress. You are way cooler than her though. Ha ha. Sorry about your stuff though :(
Yay for making it there okay, I'm sure you can survive on an air mattress and paper plate for a week, we all did okay with only ramen, BK and beer for 4 years!

Hope your stuff arrives with no trouble. Look at it this way, cleaning your apartment must be really easy right now right?!!
Glad to hear you had a successful move. I hope you enjoy your new state. Also, YAY for finding an apartment in a safe area. Although the drive may be a bit longer to work, you will be able to sleep much better.
