Today is my last day of work here. I start my new job monday. It's exciting but a little nerve racking too. I'll still be primarily doing outpatient but I will be changing locations every 13wks or so. I'm definately ready for the change though.
Tomorrow morning we are heading down to Craig's parents until saturday. Don't ask me why we have to stay until saturday but it's a compromise (he wants to leave tonight and stay until sunday). It's not that I don't like his family (although his mom tends to be a bit much for me) it's that we sleep on the floor and it kills my back. Plus people tend to stay up late and then his dad is up by 6ish so I get hardly any sleep. I'll be giving his mom the pictures she requested so wish me luck!
Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving and eats lots of turkey!

P-town
This weekend Craig and I went down to Portland to do some tax-free shopping. I was able to find a few things including a winter jacket, a pair of brown boots, and a pair of jeans. Unfortunately now that I'm home I'm not sold on the boots or the jeans. The jeans are too skinny through the knee and thigh for me (Craig likes them but I think it's just cuz they are tight, you know how men are). And the boots show when I wear them under my jeans which drives me crazy. I like the boot over jeans look but none of my jeans work with that and I'm just not sure I can rock the skinny jean. :) Overall it was a nice relaxing weekend though.
I've been busy with the transition of changing jobs. My current employer has been kinda bitchy about the whole thing which is rather frustrating to me. They want a reason and unfortunately I don't have a good one that I am willing to share with them. I mean there are lots of reasons I'm leaving but I would rather not go that route and give them them all. I've told them I want to be somewhere where I feel I can move up and I want something different but they don't like that answer. Whatever I guess, I'll be gone soon enough.
On that same note, since I'll be at a outpatient clinic of a big hospital group they need all sorts of crazy documentation from me to verify my credantials. My school and work history, my provider numbers for all the insurances I provide to (normally employers just look this up in data base), and the worst is certificates of liability insurance from all previous jobs. That one is a pain because where I worked in Cali is super flakey and not responding to my phone calls or emails and the new company needed it by yesterday! AHHH!

It's offical
It's offical, I handed in my resignation letter today. I'll be starting at a new company nov 30. I've been at my current job 2.75 yrs and think it's time to give something new a try. I really like my coworkers but have had many frustrations with the company. Hopefully the new job will turn out better. :)

MIL update
So for the pictures I've just decided to order the family pictures and play dumb from there. It would make sense to mail out those in a christmas card, not a picture of him and the groomsmen. If she's mad I'll just act confused. Whatever she can deal with it.
Weekend
We had a pretty lame weekend. Friday we just ordered a pizza and watched tv. Saturday morning our new dining room table got delivered bright and early (they called at 7:30 saying they were on their way). It looks really good and it's nice to finally have some furniture on that side of the house. :) We spent the day running errands then came home so C could watch football and I did some yardwork. We stayed home to handout candy saturday night but didn't get many kids. I guess all the hills in our neighborhood scare them off. Oh well more candy for us (just what we need I know). :) Sunday we ran up to Ike@ but didn't find anything to buy. Then we came home to watch the vikings game. It was a pretty mellow weekend which was nice for once. I seem to be fighting off a cold for like 3 weeks now and have just been exhausted.
This next weekend I have a 4 day weekend and tried to get C to go to Portland so we could go shopping tax-free but he doesn't want to since he is in Idaho for work all week. I think I am going to finally paint our bedroom but there's some things that I asked him to drill out that he never did so not sure if I'll be able to. Otherwise it will likely be the same old same old.
Here's a couple more pictures from pumpkin carving.

Tell me
Am I wrong to be a little hurt and frustrated that my new MIL emailed me asking me to print some wedding pictures for her so she can put them in christmas cards and they are ALL of Craig and his groomsmen! Not a single one includes me. If you are telling people your son got married wouldn't you want them to see his new wife?! But I know if I say something to him he'll get all defensive cuz he's totally overprotective of her. WTF.

weekend
This weekend we were busy. Friday night we went to a friend's house to carve pumpkins, eat pizza, and play wii. I've never played Wii before but by the 3rd bowling game I kicked ass! Saturday and Sunday we spent shopping. Half our house has no furniture. We've never had a formal dining room table and then we sold the couch and loveseat the week before the wedding. Long story but Craig didn't like them. So this weekend we managed to find a dining room table for cheap. We found some couches that we are debating. We just can't seem to find the comfort level we would like in the price range we can afford. Plus we don't use the front room that often. We would like to get a tv for in there but that's a ways off. Other than that we didn't do too much, got dinner but that's pretty standard. We don't have much going on the next couple weeks as of now but that can always change. Here's a couple pictures of our pumpkins.
