So for the pictures I've just decided to order the family pictures and play dumb from there. It would make sense to mail out those in a christmas card, not a picture of him and the groomsmen. If she's mad I'll just act confused. Whatever she can deal with it.

I agree with Laura, that's a great way to handle it...and you're right, the family pictures make much more sense to send in a Christmas card than the one of just him and groomsmen!
