Per my mom's request here are some festive colors. :) This will likely be the extent of decorating I do this year. haha.
Thanksgiving was good. We ate lots of good food and dranks lots too. It was a fun time for all...ate, drank, watched football, ate and drank more, played cards, ventured out to a couple bars and drank some more. Friday morning and having to go to work came way too quickly!
Didn't do much over the weekend. Saturday went to a spinning class and ran some errands, went out for sushi with a couple of friends, then met up with some different friends for cards later that night. Sunday just kind layed around. And been working all week. It was nice to relax a little over the weekend being my next few are jam packed.

Happy Turkey Day!!!
Haha I had forgotten I had changed my blog color and almost didn't recognize my page when I turned to it. Anyhow, my class went well this past weekend but it was long and exhausting. Who knew sitting for 28 hours could be so tiring! Lol! I definately know that I am not made to sit for 8 hours a day, I was squirming in my chair like no other. I was super glad that I decided to get a hotel for some of the nights at least, on thursday it took me 1hr 45min to get to my hotel 10 miles away. One thing I don't miss about living in a city.
I'm not going to be able to make it home for Thanksgiving so I'm celebrating with some friends here. We are going to have SOOOOO much food! I'm currently baking pies since I have to work all day tomorrow and have plans with a friend tomorrow night. Hopefully they'll make it until thursday. :-/ I'm second guessing making the one tonight, worried that it may be a little soggy come thursday but too late now.
I'm bored waiting for my pies to cook so here is a little survey for you. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and eat lots and lots of food!!!
I think this survey may be too deep for me but here it goes...

HoHum
First off there is this guy who goes to my gym that looks so much like Garrett that it almost makes me sick.
Anyhow, I had a pretty uneventful weekend, didn't do much worth writing about. This week I have a 4 day class thur-sun that's north of Seattle so I worked today and then will have to take a day of vacation. Traffic is going to suck!!! To get there in time I'm going to have to leave by 5:30, yuck! I broke down and got a hotel for thursday night and am not too worried about traffic on the weekend but thursday morning and friday night are going to be hell! Plus being that I drive a gas guzzler gas is going to kill me. Ah the joys of continuing ed, hopefully it will at least be a good class.

Stair Climb
I somehow got suckered into participating into a 56 floor stair climb race to help raise money for cystic fibrosis research. What it entails is me hauling my butt up 56 flights of stairs (I believe it is in the Washington Tower in Seattle). They then tally up our team of 5 times to come up with a winner. Hope the guys aren't looking to win being they bugged me to be on the team, of which I am the sole girl, and I have not run stairs since high school!
The reason I am doing this is because a guy I work with has CF and is really involved in the foundation. CF is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that:
-clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections;
-obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.
SOOO, if anyone would like to support me and my team in this climb along with supporting cystic fibrosis research here is a link to donate money to our team. Ross set a goal of raising $1,000.

**ok I guess the link doesn't work but it works for me if you cut and paste it.

Halloween continued...
This time we went to a bar that I seem to visit almost weekly but it has very cheep drink so how can you go wrong. LOL! This night wasn't nearly as fun but I did get to see a few friends who I haven't seen in a while. The night ended early for Dana and Alicia while I stayed a while longer and caught a ride with some other friends. Unfortunately my night ended with some stupid boy drama which kind of ruined the night for me.
As promised here are a few pictures.

Halloween
Saturday we decided to celebrate halloween a little early. First we went on this haunted trail which was actually really good. They had people jumping out at you and chasing you the whole trail (it was about 1 mile), complete with a guy with a chainsaw and all. I think my favorite part was this house with all black walls, things hanging from the ceiling, no lights, and no door. You wander in circles trying to follow a wall but just running into everyone for about 5 minutes before they let you out. It was fun.
Next we went back to Alicia's to have a few drinks and get ready to go to the bar. Our costumes were interesting but we had a great time! I almost got my butt kicked by some lady who out weighed me by about 100lbs and was dressed as a bucket of KFC chicken with rats on it. She claimed we stole her table, we wouldn't move, and she pushed me. Ah, excitment. I did manage to come home with a gun and several glow sticks that I didn't start the night off with. LOL! Here are a few pics. Sorry mom my skirt is really short but no worries I don't dress like this normally. :) Hopefully I'll have more pics to post after wednesday.

car trouble
Why is car work so expensive? I have dropped more than a lot of people pay for their car getting mine fixed this past week! First, I got some body/paint work done on it. It wasn't anything major, just some scratches that had been there for awhile but one of the little spots was starting to rust a little so figured I better get it taken care of. So I was without my car all week and it cost me a TON. Then they managed to miss a part of it so I get to go without a car again on monday. Yipee. Then I decided that I had better take it in for a 30,000 mile maintenance since I know nothing about cars. Plus I was pretty sure my transmission was leaking. Turns out I was right about the transmission, this is my second transmission leak and my car is only 2 years old! Then to add to the trouble I also have a leak in my rear differential! Thank god I decided to get the extended warranty. So that means yet another day with no car and having to bug someone to give me rides to and from the dealer. Think I may be trading this car in before I hit the 70,000 mile mark and am without a warranty with the way things are going. Sucks though cuz I was hoping for a little time with no car payment but looks like no such luck.
