Stair Climb

I somehow got suckered into participating into a 56 floor stair climb race to help raise money for cystic fibrosis research. What it entails is me hauling my butt up 56 flights of stairs (I believe it is in the Washington Tower in Seattle). They then tally up our team of 5 times to come up with a winner. Hope the guys aren't looking to win being they bugged me to be on the team, of which I am the sole girl, and I have not run stairs since high school!

The reason I am doing this is because a guy I work with has CF and is really involved in the foundation. CF is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that:
-clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections;
-obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.

SOOO, if anyone would like to support me and my team in this climb along with supporting cystic fibrosis research here is a link to donate money to our team. Ross set a goal of raising $1,000.

**ok I guess the link doesn't work but it works for me if you cut and paste it.
