Yard and other summer projects

Our big project number 1 of the summer has been redoing our backyard. It was hilly before so flattened it out and put in a rock retaining wall. I gave us quite a bit more yard space which is nice. Craig wanted to do the work himself but luckily I convinced him to hire someone. It would have been way too big of project for us. The biggest obstacle was they kept hitting our sprinkler pipes in the flattening out part. Kind of an easy fix but a pain in the butt and time consuming. We dug out tons of shrubs. It was amazing how many they had packed in there. And we hauled 2800 pounds of brick to the dump. That was quite the dump bill. :) We still need to plant flowers, put in bark, and stuff like that.

I wasn't thinking and didn't take any "before" pictures but do have a couple bad ones from a cd our relator gave us before we moved in.

During. It was a tight squeeze to get this machine into our backyard. We have steps along side our house plus there's only about 10 feet between us and the neighbors. This thing is 7 ft wide.

Big project number 2...we are expecting our 1st baby, due February 15. It wasn't so much of a "big" project, rather it was acomplished much quicker and easier than we expected. :)
