I just spent my tax rebate on blinds for our family room. How lame is that?! And it's ridiculous how much they cost. There was no blinds on the family room and kitchen when we moved in and have been dragging our feet cuz the windows are really big and hence really expensive. But we need to get them sooner or later for several reasons: 1) We have crazy neighbors who look into our window at night and open the blinds on their bathroom windon and get naked. 2) You can feel the cold air seeping in when you sit on the couch. 3) My husband is a paranoid freak and thinks people are watching us all the time. 4) I can't walk around the house naked ;)
I finally went to a hematologist for my bleeding thing and it was very frustrating. It was a waste of time and money. He walked in and told me it's very rare and he doesn't know much about it so had just looked it up. He couldn't answer any of my questions and referred me to a hemophillia clinic in seattle. Who knows if they will even know what to do since I don't have hemophillia. You couldn't have read the referral before hand and seen that you dont know how to treat it and saved me my $50 co-pay and 2 hours unpaid off work??!!! But yet he drew 8 vials of blood. Why when you know nothing about it? I'm trying to be responsible and be aware of what complications my blood thing could give me but results like today make me feel like I shouldn't bother.
