In other news, Dana and I went dress shopping yesterday. It was fun but I tried on sooooo many pretty dresses. I have it narrowed down to 2 that I really like I think. Problem is one is a cafe color (kinda a light brown/tan i guess?) and I'm not sure how it would look if I ordered it in white. The cafe is pretty but I think I kinda want a white wedding dress. The other is an ivory. It sucks, I kinda look better in the ivory than white but is that just the lights in these places and that it's winter and I'm pasty? Is it weird to have an off-white wedding dress? Do I risk ordering the white and it washing me out? AGHHHH! So many decisions. It sucks that my mom and amy can't get out here to help me pick one out.

My wedding dress was ivory and I absolutely loved it. I would never wear white. I think white washes people's skin tone out, but then again if it is in the summer you will be tan. I'm pretty sure most people order ivory if I remember right from my dress shopping experience.
mine was not white, it was candlelight or diamond white or some off shade like that. I tried on a bunch of mocha colors and loved them. I saw do what you want, it's your wedding and if it makes you feel beautiful than that's it!
