Things are coming along here. Worked all week, I'm starting to feel in need of a vacation. Friday night we had an exciting night of getting dinner at Red R0bbin then going to h0me dep0t to buy a washer and get paint samples. (exciting I know) I think we have decided on colors for the family room and accent wall in the living/dining rooms. Hopefully they look good! I think we are going to attempt to paint next weekend so once that's done I'll post pics. Saturday we got my ring fixed. It's hard to get off my knuckle (I have giant knuckles)and since I have to take it on/off a lot for work I wanted it a little bigger. Well the jewler decided to just make it flat on the bottom in hopes that it would come off easier. Now it fits even worse. Ugh! I am going to try to bear with it for a couple weeks but now it feels tight all over. After that we bought a lawnmower and ran errands. That evening I went to dinner with my friend Alicia and then met up with Craig and some of his friends. The day ended crappy though. I got a statement from my old apartment that says I'm responsible for the rent through the remainder of my lease (march). This isn't what I had agreed to, I had signed a thing that I would pay a settlement of 1.5 months rent but when I turned in my keys they didn't ask for it. Grrr. Fricking apt has been such a pain in my butt. Then we took my car to the 2nd bar we went to and I got a parking ticket (actually Craig was the one driving). He parked in a pay to park lot but none of us saw the sign. Grrr. Everything sucking up my money. Anyhow here are a couple pictures that Craig's dad took of the house. Inside ones will come once we get things painted and such.
Outside view.

Us in front of the house. Don't mind that I look Asian. :( We'll blame it on lack of sleep?

OMG Laura, your house is AMAZING! I am so incredibly jealous!
As far as the ring goes, I stopped wearing mine to work eventually because finding a good fit that works for taking on and off a lot is not easy. I use chemicals all day long and wash my hands about 40 times a day, so if I wear my ring to work, I get a rash on my finger. Hot, I know:)
The house looks awesome!I can't wait to see the inside!
I wear just my wedding band to work a lot of the time, between scrapeing the kids and getting all kinds of gross-ness on it and the million hand washings it's just easier. I too get the nasty ring rash, it took almost 2 weeks of no ring to get rid of it, bluck.
Awesome house Laura! Got room for a family of 4 too? ;)
I got a sparkly wedding band so that when I don't wear my ring, which is pretty often, I still sparkle. ;)
I am so behind on posts.
First, congrats on your engagement. The ring is beautiful and the proposal sounded awesome.
Second, love the house and congrats on the purchase. It is beautiful and I can't wait to see pics of the inside. How many beds/baths?
Congrats again and can't wait to hear wedding details and house details as it happens!!!
It's 4 bedrooms (or 3 bedroom 1 office when 1 of you works from home) and 2.5 baths. We have lots of extra room for visitors (even if they may be famlies of 4 ;))
I have been hardcore slacking on the blog. congrats to you. house, engagement, all of it. how awesome.
