Big news

No not the news that you are all hoping for but instead Craig and I bought a house! We haven't closed yet but inspection and all that went well so really it's just a sit and wait game. I have no pictures but am hoping to drive by one of these days and take a couple.

Otherwise we have been pretty boring. I guess that's what happens when you drop all that money. lol. Haven't done much other than going out to dinner and such. Next weekend Amy will be here to visit and then the weekend after that we have a wedding. I'm finally done with my 50 hr weeks. The money is nice but I definately need a little break. We seem to be in fall for sure now here, grey and rainy every day. Blah. I'm starting to wonder what I am thinking dooming myself to grey skies and rain everyday. Haha. The things I do for that boy. ;)

Well hopefully I'll get some pictures soon. I'm sure Amy will want to drive by and see it. When I get them I will post a couple.

I don't want to be at work today. I'm sick of listening to a particular co-worker bitch to me about the same things over and over again. Especially when she bombards me with it first thing in the morning!!!! Who cares just deal with it!!!! I'm not a morning person to start with and I would much prefer to stay ot myself so just stop talking to me!!!!!

Weekend review

This weekend we went down to Craig's parents' house for his dad's semi-annual poker party. We headed down on friday and hung out with his parents for a while. Saturday Craig got up early for the tourny (which he won, woohoo!!!) and I went for walk and then garage shopping with his mom. That afternoon the rest of his family came over to celebrate his sister's and grandpa's b-days. By the evening we were needing to get away so him and I left and went to the bar. Sunday was filled with more family fun. We played a little scrabble, hung out, ate pizza, and watched football. We didn't get home until 7 and were both exhausted. We slept on the floor of the family room and were up early both days between the poker party and 2 little kids running around (his sister and her family spent the night as well). Let me tell you 6:00 came way too early this morning! I'm worked extra again this week. It's gettinng old but I just keep trying to tell myself that I need the money. The rest of the week I'm just working and hoping to get together with a friend for dinner one night this week. well that's all for now.

Confused

I'm confused. Do I do something that will make me happy but will make money really tight? OR do I play it safe and wait until later and hope something cheaper and just as good comes up? One of those things were 1 minute you think one thing and then the next you second guess yourself. AHHHHHH!!!!!!! I hate being an adult!!! I just don't know what to do...

Meet the parents

My parents came to visit this past weekend (I think mainly so that my dad could meet Craig). It went well. We didn't do much exciting. They got here thursday night and we met up with Craig for dinner. Friday we hung out in Tacoma and went down to the waterfront and walked. I had debated taking the ferry over to Bainbridge Island but decided against it because I didn't want to have to deal with friday/holiday traffic. Saturday Craig and I had bought tickets to the WSU/Oklahoma state football game before my parents decided to come out so we left my parents at home and went to that. It was fun but WSU got killed! Afterward my mom made dinner and we hung out and played board games. Sunday we went over to Gig Harbor and then met Craig's parent in Lacey for dinner. That seemed to go well and our parents seemed to get along fine (doesn't really matter though since they will very rarely see each other, lol). They left on monday morning and Craig and I relaxed a little to get ready for the work week. My dad says that Craig seems like I nice guy. I told him that he sure has him fooled. ;)

This next weekend should be pretty low key. I think we are going to see a friend of mine who just had a baby. Other than that we don't have too much planned but I'm sure plenty will come up. The weekend after that we will be down at his parents for the weekend. His dad is having his semi-annual poker party that Craig helps with and it is his sister's and grandpa's b-days so they are having a little party for that. September is going to be a busy work schedule for me. I agreed to work my day off at one of our other clinics in order to make a little extra money but that means little rest for me. :(

White trash party

This weekend was a busy weekend. Saturday was Craig's bday so I took him out to dinner on friday night. Unfortuantely the place he picked SUCKED! But we still had fun. Saturday we went to his company picnic and then to a "white trash party" of his co-workers (see pictures below). It was actually a lot of fun. They went all out complete with a couch and beer cans in the front yard, a fancy dinner of mac and cheese with hot dogs, pb&j sandwishes, pop tarts, easy cheese, cocktail weiners and such. There was also a burping contest which I am proud to say that I won, lol. Sunday we went down to Craig's parents house for a bday party with is family. We got back late last night but luckily I only had to work the afternoon so was able to sleep in a little. Just work as usual this week and a work dinner on thurday night.

Boring

Nothing good to say here. Had a pretty boring weekend. I went out to dinner with a friend on friday and then on saturday Craig and I went out to dinner with a friend of his. During the day we just kinda hung out, I was super tired all weekend so didn't feel like doing much. Have been working extra every week to help pay for my stupid surgery, blah! Craig's b-day is this next weekend so we will be extra busy for that. Plan on going down to his parents' and who knows what else. He took next monday off but we will have to get back for me to work OT in the afternoon. But I think that is about it for me.
